Women's Stroke Play Championship
The Women’s Stroke Play Championship is in its 21st season and is a 54-hole stroke play championship, consisting of female PGA and LPGA Members and Associates. Women Associates, who have completed Level 1 in the PGA PGM Program and are in good standing, will be allowed to enter the Women’s Stroke Play Championship. Each player will play one round on the Wanamaker Course and one round on the Ryder Course. After 36 holes, the field, provided there are over 100 entries, will be reduced to the low 40% of the starting field and ties for the final round. The final round will be played on the Wanamaker Course.
There is a Senior Division of the Women's Stroke Play Championship. Senior Women will play from a separate set of tees and will NOT be eligible to earn an exemption into the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. If so choosing, a Senior (age 50+) player may declare and play in the Championship Division, from the Championship Tees, in order to be eligible to earn an exemption into the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. After the event deadline, an email will be sent to all players eligible to compete in the Senior Division asking them to declare their intentions of competing in either the Senior or Championship Division.
