Range & Practice: 

Range Balls will be provided to all players.

 

 

Format

  • The Section Championship will be played as an 18-hole aggregate scramble stroke play (same format as Qualifier).

  • Both 13u & 17u players will play 18 holes

  • Teams of 8 will be split up into 4 groups of 2

  • Each two person team will still compete in a two-person scramble

  • Each pair counts their strokes on every hole

  • There are NO gimmes, the pair must finish each hole

  • There is a triple bogey max

  • The lowest 3 out of 4 pair scores count for the team total

 

 

Tie Breaking Procedure -

The winner of the competition will be determined by lowest team eighteen-hole aggregate score (three of four scores). In the event of a tie for any qualifying spots, the committee will use the aggregate team total using all four pair scores; if still tied the Committee will use team aggregate score (all pairs) on the second 9 holes; if still tied the Committee will use the team aggregate score (all pairs) for the final 6 holes. If still tied the Committee will use the aggregate score (all pairs) for the final 3 holes. If still tied, the Committee will use team aggregate score (all pairs) for the 18th hole only, and continue backwards by comparing the 17th hole only, 16th hole only, etc. until a winner has been determined.

 

Assistant Coaches

  • Each team may have 1 lead coach and 1 assistant coach 

  • All assistant coaches MUST be registered on the PAG JL website and complete the APS & BGS Safety requirements  - add your asst. Coach now

  • The Asst. Coaches must be listed on the lineup form as well so we can verify they are registered. 

 

 

Coach Golf Cart

Each Coach will be provided with one complimentary golf cart. These carts will be identified with your facility/team name on the cart sign.

 

 

Spectator Golf Carts

Available for rent in the pro-shop for $25+tax/cart.
 

RULES SECTION

 

Coach Advice Policy

  • Coaches may provide coaching to their players at any time during the playing of a game. However, it is required that Coaches maintain pace of play while doing so.

 

Spectator Policy 

  • Spectators acknowledge that the goal of PGA Jr. League is for players to have fun with friends.

  • Spectators agree to stay on the cart path/rough at all times.

  • Spectators agree to abstain from caddying.

 

Players Walking/ Golf Cart Policy 

  • Players must walk and carry/push their own clubs at all times during play.

  • Players may NOT receive rides on a golf cart from a coach or spectator at any time including from green-tee.

  • Spectators or coaches may not push/carry a players clubs. Players clubs may not be on a spectator or coach cart. The player must push/carry their own bag. (push carts are allowed!!)

  • If there are long walks between holes the tournament staff will set up authorized zones to transport players and clubs.

  • SEPTEMBER 18-20, 2026 at Countryside Golf Club - Mundelein, IL

  • Cost to attend $300/per player

  • Friday Practice round (your tee time will be pre-assigned)

  • Saturday Stroke Play Qualifier 18 holes

  • Sunday Match play for the final 4 & a 9 hole shootout for the other teams

 

17u National Championship

  • OCTOBER 22-25, 2026 at Twin Warriors Golf Club in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico

  • Cost to attend $500/per player

  • Friday Practice round (your tee time will be pre-assigned)

  • Saturday Stroke Play Qualifier 18 holes

  • Sunday Match play for the final 4 & a 9 hole shootout for the other teams

 

13u National Championship

  • NOVEMBER 11-15, 2026 at PGA Frisco’s Fields Ranch West

  • Cost to attend $500/per player

  • Friday Practice round (your tee time will be pre-assigned)

  • Saturday Stroke Play Qualifier 18 holes

  • Sunday Match play for the final 4 & a 9 hole shootout for the other teams
