Welcome to the Carolinas PGA Jr. League 13u & 17u Section Championship at Gates Four Golf & Country Club! 

 

Tournament Format
Two-person scramble. Traditional PGA Jr. League format utilizing head-to-head match play and flag scoring, with 12 points available at each 13u game and 9 points available at each 17u game.

Spectator/ Player Conduct Expectations
We expect all players and spectators to follow the player and spectator code of conduct at all times to allow everyone a fun day!

 

Estimated Yardages

  • TRIANGLE TEES - Boys 14 & over
  • SQUARE TEES - Boys 12-13    
  • PENTAGON TEES - Boys 10-11 and Girls 14 & over    
  • CIRCLE TEES - Girls 13 & under

Starting Times
Tee times will begin at 8:05 am. The winning teams from the morning matches will proceed to compete in the afternoon session. The afternoon matches will commence at 1:00 P.M. with the 13u division. The Carolinas PGA REACH Team has the authority to adjust the afternoon start times. - Printable Pairings

 

Jersey Color
Juniors must wear their respective colors on the pairing sheet. There will be NO switching during the day of the event. Please note, that there is no penalty if a player shows up with the wrong jersey. 

Scoring
Players must turn the scorecards in at the scoring tent. Players and scorekeepers MUST sign the scorecard before turning them in. Our recommendation is to have the Coaches or Assistant Coaches finalize the scorecards before turning them in.

Carts
One (1) cart will be provided for each team Coach. Spectators may purchase a cart in the golf shop during the day of the event at the facility's preferred rate. Please note, that this will be first-come, first-serve.

Food & Beverage
Lunch will be provided for all competitors, coaches & assistant coaches. Lunch will begin at 11:30 A.M. until the last tee time in the afternoon for the championship round.
